How long will my water be off?
Water is restored every evening. A typical whole-home repipe runs four to seven working days, and you will not spend a night without service.
PEX or copper?
PEX-A for concealed branch runs — fewer joints, no pinhole corrosion, better freeze tolerance. Type L copper for exposed mechanical rooms and anywhere the run is visible.
Do you really paint the patches?
Yes. Patch, prime, and two coats in your color. Skim-coat plaster where the original wall is plaster rather than board.
